Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team.. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality radiation therapy treatments to patients, contributing to their recovery and overall health. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the treatment process.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

· Knowledgeable in the areas of anatomy, physiology, clinical oncology , radiobiology, radiation physics, and radiation safety

· Demonstrate knowledge of radiotherapy treatment implementation to include basic dosimetry and isodose plan knowledge

· Demonstrate knowledge of CT simulation process

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment

· Knowledge of basic computer skills and radiation oncology software programs

· Basic customer service skills

· Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

EDUCATION

· Graduate of a Radiation Therapy Program

EXPERIENCE

· Two years previous experience as a radiation therapist preferred

CERTIFICATE/LICENSE

· AART registered

· Maintain a current Iowa Permit to Practice Radiation Therapy, 24 hours continuing education in a 2-year period

· Current BCLS certification
