• $5,000 for a 1-year commitment

Hospital is a 159-bed, acute-care facility serving Pontotoc County and the surrounding areas in south-central Oklahoma. Our hospital provides vital health care services to the Ada and surrounding communities.

How You’ll Contribute
The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients and implementing medically prescribed physical therapy treatment plans tailored to individual needs. The therapist conducts comprehensive assessments, establishes appropriate goals, and develops personalized interventions to restore function, reduce pain, prevent disability, and promote mobility. The Physical Therapist educates patients on injury prevention, ergonomics, and rehabilitation strategies, while also supervising and delegating tasks to physical therapy assistants, students, and support personnel in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Physical Therapist License in the State of Oklahoma (or eligibility to obtain)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – obtain within 30 days of hire
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
