Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in surgical nursing, with experience in various specialties. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Duties

• Collaborate with the surgical team to prepare for procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
• Monitor patient vital signs and conditions throughout the surgical process.
• Administer medications and manage IV infusions as required.
• Assist with patient positioning and maintain aseptic technique during surgeries.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding post-operative care and recovery processes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety protocols.
• Stay updated on best practices in surgical nursing, including infection control measures and emergency response procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications:
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree preferred.
• Must have an active Arizona or Compact RN License.
• 1 to 2 years of experience preferred.
• Must obtain ACLS and CPR within 90 days of hire.
