We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate will possess critical care experience and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role requires proficiency in various medical procedures and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
• Monitor vital signs, assess patient conditions, and implement appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications, IV infusions, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform advanced procedures such as suturing, catheterization, and airway management.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to NCQA standards.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient management and documentation.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a Associate’s Degree from an accredited nursing school.

Additional requirements include:

• BLS and ACLS certifications are required within 90 days of hire.
• One year of experience in an Acute Care setting preferred.
