How you’ll contribute 

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) who excels in this role evaluates and treats patient populations for swallowing, speech-language and therapy needs. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient’s condition.
  • Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family.
  • Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
  • Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services.
  • Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.

Requirements

Applicants should have a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and be a licensed SLP in Utah. Additional requirements include:

  • CCC-SLP certification
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 60 days of hire.
