We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical imaging, particularly in CT scans, and demonstrate proficiency in various diagnostic techniques. This role is essential for providing high-quality imaging services to support patient diagnosis and treatment in a fast-paced medical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and ensure the highest quality of imaging for diagnostic purposes.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging procedures based on patient needs.
• Maintain and operate CT equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and protocols.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
• Administer contrast materials as needed, adhering to aseptic techniques and safety guidelines.
• Document patient information accurately, including medical history and imaging results.
• Assist in the training of new staff members or students as required.
• Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques.

Requirements

• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with a focus on CT or equivalent certification.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic radiology principles.
• Experience in nuclear medicine, sonography, emergency medicine, or urgent care is preferred.
• Familiarity with various imaging modalities such as PET scans, mammography, DEXA scans, X-ray, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
• Previous experience working in a Level I or Level II trauma center is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
