Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical imaging, particularly in computed tomography (CT), and will be committed to providing high-quality diagnostic evaluations. This role requires proficiency in various imaging modalities and an understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or trauma centers is highly desirable.

Duties

• Perform CT scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and care.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures while adhering to aseptic techniques.
• Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate imaging protocols based on clinical indications.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures performed.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it is functioning correctly and safely.
• Assist in the training of new staff or interns in CT procedures and protocols.
• Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques.
• Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) with advanced certification in CT.
• Education: Graduate from a School of Radiologic Technology approved by CAHEA/JRCT.
• Experience: Minimum of five (5) years progressive experience in CT.
• Leadership: Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare imaging environment.
• Relocation: Must be willing to relocate to Vermont.
