Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Catheterization Lab team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of cardiac catheterization procedures and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the catheterization process.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care during catheterization procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and aseptic techniques.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to any changes in their condition during and after procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about procedures, post-operative care, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
• Assist in the preparation of the catheterization lab for procedures, including equipment setup and sterilization.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to NCQA standards.
• Stay current with advancements in cardiac care practices, technologies, and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree preferred.
• Must have an active Arizona or Compact RN License.
• 1 to 2 years of experience preferred.
• Must obtain ACLS and CPR within 90 days of hire.
