Position Summary: The CT Technologist is responsible executing radiologic and Computed Tomography procedures with expert knowledge and the ability to perform all procedures efficiently and accurately. 

This is a full time, night shift position that works 12-hour shifts. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation to demonstrate cross-sectional anatomy for the purpose of detecting pathology.
  • Preparing patient rooms, equipment, supplies and contrast media.
  • Working without supervision or assistance while applying independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
  • Applying an understanding of age-related care needs for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Delivering high-quality services and interacting appropriately with patients, patient representatives, physicians, and co-workers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • License: Utah Radiologic Technologist License. ARRT Computed Tomography certification and registration
  • Certification: BLS Certification within 6 months of hire
  • Experience: Diagnostic Tech and CT Tech experience preferred

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Measures lung capacity and analyzes blood samples using a blood gas analyzer. May perform tobacco cessation education, bedside PFT, EKGs, etc as ordered by the provider.

Delivers and assesses response to ordered therapy per plan of care. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.

Evaluates respiratory care policies and procedures based on patient outcomes, current research, and best practices.

Responds to codes and calls for emergent assistance. Assesses patient condition and delivers appropriate treatment.

Educates the patient and family about the patient's illness and provides information about community support groups and other resources.

Monitors, receives, stocks, and distributes respiratory care supplies and medical gas cylinders.

Maintains storage areas with required supply levels and equipment.

Disassembles, cleans, and sterilizes equipment, and performs preventative maintenance and calibration of machines.

Performs all responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels

Qualifications:

Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care License - Required

Graduate of a CRT or RRT Program - Preferred

Bachelor’s degree

Required Skills

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Our Nuclear Medicine Technologist:

  • Performs both clinical and research nuclear medicine testing and therapeutic procedures including general studies, cardiac studies, and the computer interactions associated with these studies.
  • Performs clinical instruction for nuclear medicine students and other personnel as needed.
  • Contributes to the development of policies, procedures, standards and objectives, and quality assurance needs for the provision of Nuclear Medicine services. 
  • Hours - Monday - Friday 9am-530pm, no weekends except call coverage
  • Is required to take rotating call coverage, including evenings, weekends and holidays. More details - Call will be every 12 days. It will be 24 hours if it falls on a weekend (example - 7a Saturday through 7a Sunday) OR 14 hours if it falls on a weeknight (5p-7a). You will receive call pay for carrying a pager and overtime and shift differentials if called in.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine. Associates or Baccalaureate Degree in Nuclear Medicine is required.

Active ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology or active NMTCB (CNMT) certification.

Vermont Nuclear Medicine Technologist license or eligibility to obtain state license.

Job Description

We are seeking an Imaging Supervisor to join our team! This position offers an emphasis on supervisor responsibilities as well as the ability to work clinically as schedule needs require (vacation, call-out coverage, etc.). The Imaging Supervisor must be able to perform a variety of routine and complex tests in all areas of the department as needed. Areas include but are not limited to General Radiography, Fluoroscopy, DXA, Mammography, CT, OR Imaging, and PACs. Responsible for the organization of the shift workload, delegation of tasks, supervision of staff and scheduling. Acts on behalf of the Radiology Director in relaying appropriate intradepartmental communications. Keeps the Radiology Director informed of the shift activities as well as consults with the Radiology Director on a routine basis. Oversees inventory and ordering of departmental supplies. Reviews and makes decisions on quality control on a daily basis. Coordinates departmental staffing needs.

Job Description

The Ultrasound Department includes Breast and Diagnostic Ultrasound services.

The Supervisor is responsible for staffing and the daily operations; Ensures that mandates from regulatory agencies are in compliance for quality imaging, quality control and quality assurance for sonographers, radiologists, physicists, equipment, and patient records. Performs clinical procedures and oversees the clinical instruction performed by the ultrasound educators for students and sonographers. Participates in development of Radiology policies and procedures.

The Supervisor assists the Radiology Manager with budgetary responsibilities, long range planning and the operational budget for the Ultrasound Department. As part of the management team, the supervisor assists the manager in fulfilling departmental goals.

Responsible for daily operations of the Ultrasound Department in a level I trauma center, the Sonography Supervisor will focus on administrative duties alongside day-to-day staffing responsibilities. Enjoy a flexible schedule and occasional remote work as you meet the needs of your team.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology; graduate of an approved program of Mammography Technology

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support
  • Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required
  • Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R)
  • Registered Mammography Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-M)

Experience / Knowledge / Skills:

  • Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients in conjunction with others in order to perform job functions.
  • Prior Mammography Tech experience working in an Outpatient Imaging Center

Principal Accountabilities

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position provides professional respiratory care to patients in varying states of health and illness by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the plan of care. The Level I Therapist provides and oversees delivery of patient care for adult ICU populations and all patients requiring respiratory care in the general units, including adult, pediatric, and cystic fibrosis patients. The therapist must be able to physically respond quickly to any emergent situation and be able to endure repetitive physical movement. This position requires the ability to remain standing for the majority of the shift and serves patients over a wide variety of areas. The therapist may be expected to take Charge and/or work in the ED upon successful completion of Charge and ED proficiencies. The therapist is required to maintain proficiencies as defined by department expectations in both adult ICUs and all general units. New hires are required to complete proficiencies within one year of hire date.

EXPERIENCE:

New grads and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply. New Grads - must become a Registered Respiratory Therapist by the NBRC within one year of hire date.

SHIFT NOTE:

Our shifts are for 12 hours and go from either 7 am – 7 pm or 7 pm – 7 am. There are three shifts a week for a total of 72 hours per pay period. Staff work every other weekend and rotate holidays. We have multiple day and night positions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Assessment: Evaluate and assess patients’ respiratory conditions to determine appropriate therapy.
  • Diagnostic Testing: Conduct tests to assess respiratory function and identify issues.
  • Treatment Administration: Administer and monitor oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other treatments.
  • Patient Education: Instruct patients on respiratory equipment usage, breathing techniques, and disease management.
  • Progress Monitoring: Continuously monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Respiratory Therapy
