Job Responsibilities
As an ARRT Registered Radiation Therapist, you will play a vital role in our Radiation Therapy Program by delivering radiation treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. This position involves interaction with patients, their families, and the clinical team, requiring strong interpersonal communication skills and empathy.
- Provide reassurance: Help ease patients' fears about radiation therapy
- Ensure treatment accuracy: Set up patients for accurate radiation delivery and provide clear instructions on what they can do to help
- Maintain equipment: Perform daily warm-up procedures on treatment machines and maintain logs, reporting any issues promptly
- Prepare for treatment simulation: Properly position patients and ensure the correct setup of immobilization devices, providing clear communication to the patient throughout
Work Schedule
Location: Lewiston, ID (Reliable commute or willingness to relocate with provided relocation assistance)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Flexibility required based on business needs)

- Proficiency in Specialty Care: Experience and competency as a first scrub in cardiovascular surgery or other assigned specialties.
